About Us

With a combined experience of over 35 years, the members of Solace Outpatient Center for the treatment of eating disorders are committed to providing the best possible care for their clients. Each member is involved locally in the Scenic City of Chattanooga, Tennessee in combating eating disorders and participates in ongoing education and study to evolve with the changing front of the eating disorder world. Considered to be the experts in the Tennessee Valley each therapist shares a philosophy of healing and support and is dedicated to the individual with whom we come in contact everyday.

We are members of MCR Foundation, Eating Disorders Coalition of Tennessee (EDCT), National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA), International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP), Eating Disorder Referral and Information Center and Academy of Eating Disorders. Solace Center for the treatment of eating disorders is the local referral source for outpatient treatment for those returning home after hospitalization or in patient treatment programs.

Our outpatient treatment program serves a wide area that includes Southeast Tennessee, North Georgia, North Alabama and the Southwestern regions of North and South Carolina.

Solace Center for the treament of eating disorders is often called upon, as the local experts, by local print and media to discuss current trends in the eating disorder field. We provide education for medical staff and often provide Grand Rounds for residents at local teaching hospitals. You may find one of the team members on TV, presenting a workshop or volunteering at a School to discuss eating disorders. Certainly well known in the community, Solace Outpatient Eating Disorder Center and the committed team of eating disorder professionals are the place to turn when help is needed.
